Mentor, OH Direct Hire/ Permanent role Role Overview Leads contract management activities across two sites, responsible for negotiation, administration, and compliance of contracts in a manufacturing (preferably aerospace) environment , with strong focus on new program awards (NPI) and customer interaction. Key Responsibilities Lead contract negotiations (T&Cs, NDAs, product agreements) Manage contract lifecycle : proposal ? execution ? change control Assess and mitigate contractual risk (cost, compliance, performance) Ensure compliance with regulations and export requirements Support new product introduction (NPI) and new awards Lead cross-functional coordination (programs, engineering, supply chain) Oversee team performance across two locations Manage customer and government-facing interactions Key Requirements 7+ years in contracts management within manufacturing Strong negotiation and contract interpretation skills Experience with complex contracts and new awards Knowledge of export compliance and regulatory frameworks Background in aerospace or electronics manufacturing preferred Proven team leadership and stakeholder management Ideal Candidate A hands-on contracts leader with strong commercial judgment, able to manage risk, lead negotiations, support NPI programs, and operate effectively in a fast-paced, customer-facing manufacturing environment.
