We are seeking a detail-oriented and compliance-driven Government Property Administrator to oversee the Company's Certified Government Property Management System and ensure full compliance with applicable federal regulations and internal standards. This role is critical in safeguarding government and customer-owned assets while supporting operational excellence and audit readiness. The Government Property Administrator is a detail-oriented and compliance-driven professional that manages government and customer furnished property and material within a manufacturing environment. The incumbent ensures regulatory compliance, audit oversight, and cross-functional collaboration across departments such as finance, supply chain, program management and operations.
Position Responsibilities:
- Maintain compliance with
FAR 52.245-1/DFARS
252.245-7003, GAAP, and internal control standards- Maintain the Company's Certified Government Property Management System; ensure timely update of system and the government's GFP Module and IUID Registry systems
- Maintain secure user accounts and monitor various customer portals for contract documents
- Facilitate receipt, catalog, and storage of government and customer furnished equipment (GFE and CFE)
- Manage documentation and track customer-owned material and property in compliance with government regulations
- Dispose of GFE and CFE in accordance with contractual requirements
- Collaborate with internal departments to facilitate government, customer and external audits and reporting
- Coordinate annual 100% physical inventories of all government and customer furnished property
- Utilize ERP and property management systems for data integrity and reporting
- Propose revisions and continuous improvement ideas
- Perform other duties as assigned to drive the vision, fulfill the mission, and abide by the values of this organization
Skills & Abilities:
- Knowledge and understanding of
FAR 52.245-1/DFARS 252.245-7003
- General knowledge of GAAP
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities and able to work with large sets of data in Excel
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities at the same time
- Excellent attention to detail and quality of work
- Excellent interpersonal skills including strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to exercise discretion and sound judgement
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or 3-5 years of experience in a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in managing customer and government furnished property for a federal contractor
- Background in asset management, logistics, and material/equipment control a plus
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance (current clearance preferred)
- NPMA certification is a plus (requirement to obtain within 90 days of hire)

Office Environment:
