We oversee and support a network of service providers delivering vital programs to older adults and their caregivers. Our work ensures accountability, compliance, and high‑quality service delivery across government‑funded and nonprofit programs. Position Summary The Contract Manager - Government & Nonprofit Programs supports the selection, administration, and monitoring of service provider contracts funded through local, state, and federal sources. Reporting to the Director of Program Integrity & Accountability, this role ensures contract compliance, fiscal responsibility, and performance quality for aging and social service programs. This position is ideal for professionals with experience in government contracts, nonprofit grant management, or human services program monitoring who are detail‑oriented, analytical, and mission‑driven. Key Responsibilities Compliance & Program Monitoring Conduct contract compliance reviews and provider monitoring in accordance with state and federal requirements (including DOEA policies) Evaluate program performance, outcomes, surplus/deficits, and quality assurance measures Prepare formal monitoring reports, findings, and recommendations Provider Support & Technical Assistance Serve as a liaison between Alliance for Aging and contracted service providers Provide ongoing training and technical assistance related to contract management and compliance Coordinate provider trainings to communicate new state or federal policies and regulatory updates Reporting & Collaboration Prepare reports for management and state agencies related to contract performance and compliance Maintain complete and accurate contract files and documentation Participate in meetings, conferences, and presentations representing Alliance for Aging Additional Duties Support disaster and emergency response efforts as required Perform other related duties as assigned Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Social Services or a related field Minimum 3 years of experience in aging services, government programs, or nonprofit organizations Experience with contract management, grant administration, or compliance monitoring Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and internet‑based systems Ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines Preferred Experience working with government‑funded or nonprofit service contracts Familiarity with the aging services network or human services programs Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Creole) Experience with audits, monitoring visits, or compliance reporting Work Environment & Physical Requirements Office‑based administrative work with approximately 25% local travel Prolonged computer use and detailed document review Fast‑paced environment with overlapping deadlines and shifting priorities Why Join Alliance for Aging?
