About the Role After is a direct cremation and funeral services company serving families across the U.S. during one of the most difficult moments of their lives. As a Death Record Admin, you'll play a critical behind-the-scenes role, creating cases in death certificate systems and submitting death certificate orders with accuracy and care.

This is detail-heavy, process-driven work. The families we serve are counting on it being done right.

What You'll DoCreate and manage cases in state death certificate systemsSubmit and track death certificate ordersFollow established workflows carefully and flag discrepancies when they ariseCommunicate with internal team members as needed to resolve data gapsWhat We're Looking ForHigh attention to detail, you catch errors others missComfortable working independently in a remote environmentReliable home internet connection with a minimum of 25 Mbps download / 5 Mbps upload (verify at speedtest.net); public WiFi and mobile hotspots are not acceptableTyping speed of at least 70 WPM (free tests available at typingtest.com)Comfortable with repetitive, documentation-heavy computer workValid U.S. government-issued photo ID requiredMust be able to work one of the two set schedules consistently: either (1) Mon, Tues, Wed 8am-12pm MT or (2) Thurs, Fri, Sat 8am-12pm MTNice to HavePrior experience in healthcare admin, legal support, records management, or a similar fieldFamiliarity with EDRS or state vital records systemsLocation Open to applicants in any U.S. state.
