Grants Management Specialist The EiRAM Group LLC Bethesda, MD Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Benefits Work from home Qualifications Budget management Grant management Microsoft Excel Bachelor's degree Budgeting Productivity software Full Job Description We are seeking an experienced Grants Management Specialist (Lead) to provide pre-award and post-award federal grants administration support in a fast-paced NIH environment. The ideal candidate will support application intake, budget review, compliance monitoring, award processing, financial tracking, and closeout activities while ensuring adherence to NIH policies and federal regulations. Key Responsibilities Support pre-award activities including FOA coordination, application intake, compliance reviews, budget verification, and Just-In-Time (JIT) tracking. Prepare draft funding documents, Notice of Award (NoA) packages, and obligation worksheets for federal review. Monitor post-award activities including financial reporting, progress reports, no-cost extensions, compliance tracking, and closeout support. Maintain accurate grant records, tracking logs, and administrative documentation. Draft correspondence, issue logs, and recommendation memos for federal Grants Management Specialist (GMS) review. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred. Minimum 5+ years of federal grants management experience; NIH experience preferred. Experience with eRA Commons and
IMPAC II
systems. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field preferred. Minimum 3+ years of experience with SF-424 applications, modular budgets, and indirect cost calculations. Knowledge of NIH Grants Policy Statement, human subjects requirements, and audit reporting. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Security Requirements Personnel must be able to meet NIH background check and clearance requirements.
