Job Description

We are currently seeking a motivated professional to manage critical supplier relationships and ensure the steady flow of deliveries for our major transit projects.
Salary:
$85,000 - $110,000 per year.
Work Location:
El Segundo, CA (Hybrid).
Flex Time :
Standard 8:30 AM start with high flexibility Role Overview As a Subcontract Administrator, you will be the primary link between the company and our key suppliers, ensuring project milestones are met through proactive coordination and contract management.
Supplier Management:
Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships and coordinate with internal groups to support production schedules.
Compliance & Audit:
Ensure vendor compliance with all subcontract requirements, including Buy America and DBE reporting.
Logistics & Finance:
Monitor shipments for cost-efficiency and handle vendor invoice reconciliation.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Advise Engineering, Quality, and Project Management teams to ensure smooth delivery flows.
Candidate Requirements Industry Experience:
3+ years of experience in the Rail Industry is highly preferred.
Functional Expertise:
Proven background in Purchasing, Procurement, or Contracts capacity.
Technical Skills:
Advanced MS Office skills (Excel/Access) and the ability to read/understand basic technical concepts or engineering drawings.
Problem Solving:
Strong ability to manage multiple supplier issues simultaneously and identify process inefficiencies.
Language:
English fluency (Japanese language skills are NOT required).
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Purchasing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Pay:
$85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
