The Opportunity with Solvus Global Is… Dynamic, Engaging, Cross-Disciplinary, Cutting-Edge, Flexible, EMPOWERING Solvus Global is seeking an agile, detail-obsessed Operations Manager to anchor our contract administration and corporate compliance framework. This role is specifically designed for a professional with a foundational background in the legal world (e.g., 2-3 years as a corporate or litigation paralegal) who is eager to break out of traditional legal structures and apply their risk-mitigation mindset to business operations, spinouts, and cutting-edge technology commercialization. Reporting directly to the Finance Lead with a strategic dotted-line relationship to the Talent Development and G&A Lead, you will serve as the organizational safeguard against operational loopholes. You will manage both private and federal contracts from inception to closeout, draft critical agreements, and act as the vital bridge between our internal teams, prime partners, and external legal counsel. Crucially, as a core member of a fast-growing team, you are someone who thrives on variety and is eager to lend your talent to other operational areas, such as general administration, finance, or human resources, whenever the team needs an extra hand to solve a challenge.
Core Responsibilities Contract Administration:
Manage the end-to-end administration of commercial and government contracts (including CPFF, FFP, T&M, and IDIQ contract types) from inception through closeout. Document Review & Drafting:
Independently review, draft, negotiate, and execute standard corporate agreements, including Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), and vendor agreements. External Liaison:
Act as the primary, authoritative point of contact between Solvus Global and our Prime partners, as well as coordinating complex matters with our partner law firms. HR Compliance Auditing:
Conduct periodic reviews and audits of internal human resources paperwork and administrative compliance structures to proactively identify and eliminate structural loopholes (tactical onboarding execution and signature acquisition are managed by a dedicated HR Specialist). Cross-Functional Operational Support:
Provide flexible, proactive assistance across other operational departments during peak periods or special projects, contributing to an agile "all-hands-on-deck" team ecosystem . Required Attributes & Skills Legal Framework Foundation:
2+ years of direct experience in a paralegal, legal assistant, or contracts specialist role, with a proven ability to interpret complex legal and regulatory language. Meticulous Attention to Detail:
A natural inclination toward meticulous proofreading, compliance auditing, and identifying subtle loopholes or discrepancies in technical documents. Cross-Disciplinary Flexibility:
A proactive, collaborative attitude with a genuine willingness and ability to step outside the primary scope of legal work to support other operational fields whenever an extra hand is required. Rapid Problem-Solving Agility:
Clear demonstration of cognitive flexibility and the ability to rapidly learn the nuances of federal contracting structures. High-Stakes Communication Skills:
Exceptional written and oral communication skills suitable for high-level technical negotiations and external partner management. Organization & System Management:
Strong structural capability to coordinate multiple overlapping deadlines across shifting operational domains without dropping the ball. Advantageous Attributes & Skills Federal Contracting Exposure :
Familiarity with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS) or prior exposure to SBIR/STTR
award administration. Digital Tool Proficiencies:
