The Department of Technology, Management and Budget supports the business operations of state agencies through a variety of services, including building management and maintenance, information technology, centralized contracting and procurement, budget and financial management, space planning and leasing, construction management, motor vehicle fleet operations, and oversight of the state retirement systems.
About this position:
This position serves as the designated staff specialist who is the subject matter expert for the State of Michigan's contracted bank online application system data transfer and oversees the contract changes with new banks. This position is the sole specialist for the transactional data transfer between the contracted bank, SIGMA, and State of Michigan agencies to ensure that the Statewide Procurement Card data and documents are accurate for each agency's accounting changes for transactions and are completed timely and correctly to ensure JV1s are processed accurately. This position oversees the contract change process when a new State of Michigan Bank partner contract is bid and oversees the transition period between SIGMA, agencies, and the new and previous vendors have no issues or financial impact with each agency. This specialist functions as the primary liaison between DTMB Financial Services, SIGMA, each State of Michigan agency, and the State of Michigan contracted partnered bank. This position is the primary resource to ensure payments to the bank are accurate and that billings to each agency are correct This position is the single point of contact for each department's PCard administrator to get resolution to any issues with card data either in the bank's system or SIGMA.

Position Location:
This position is located in Lansing, MI. This position may work a hybrid (remote/office) schedule with 2 days required in the office per week. Selected candidates who have been approved to work a hybrid schedule must complete that work within Michigan. Candidates should confirm work location and schedule at the time of interview. Required Education and Experience Education Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major. Experience Four years of professional experience, including two years equivalent to the experienced (P11) level or one year equivalent to the advanced (12) level. Additional Requirements and Information Special Requirements, Licenses, and Certifications Equivalent combinations of nonprofessional experience, identified by the appointing authority and approved by Civil Service that are represented by subclass codes, will be accepted for classified, professional experience equivalent to the P11-level and above.
