Sr. Subcontracts Administrator | Hybrid in Alexandria, VA |
Pay:
90k - 105k/yr | 9-month contract-to-hire Job Description We are seeking a skilled and motivated Subcontracts Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to work independently and collaboratively, managing activities that span the entire procurement cycle. This hybrid position, based in Dayton, Ohio, offers flexibility and a balance between remote and in-office work. Responsibilities Administer subcontracts of various types and complexity. Lead or assist in key negotiations and resolve performance issues. Identify risks and develop associated mitigations. Support the development of major proposals and ensure compliance with company policies and Federal government requirements. Negotiate Subcontract Agreements, including pricing, terms/conditions, and required flow downs. Identify and resolve issues on assigned subcontracts and make recommendations to management. Perform subcontract close-out activities. Create moderate to complex RFP solicitations in line with Government and Company requirements. Evaluate supplier proposal responses and conduct price and cost analysis. Act as the primary interface between subcontractors and supported programs for all subcontract-related issues. Interact regularly with program management, contracts, project control, finance, business development, and customers as required. Process Consultant/Subcontractor Change Order Requests involving funding and Period of Performance changes. Create and maintain subcontract files compliant with public laws and FAR requirements. Support post-award subcontract management and ensure compliance with performance criteria. Essential Skills A Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 8 years of experience in subcontracts. US Citizenship due to sensitivity of customer-related requirements. Strong knowledge of government contracts and subcontracts. Proficiency in negotiation, including experience with complex terms and conditions. Experience with all contract types (CPIF, CPFF, FFP, T&M) and a thorough understanding of
FAR/DFARS.
Excellent time management, organizational, and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint site document management. Additional Skills & Qualifications CPSR experience preferred or required. Costpoint experience required. A combination of education and experience may be considered, such as an Associate's Degree plus 10 years of experience. Work Environment The position offers a hybrid work environment with flexibility, ideally requiring 1-3 days per week in the office. Work hours are flexible between 8/9-5 from Monday to Friday, accommodating work-life balance needs. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Springfield, VA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $100000.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
