ROLE IMPACT
This role drives revenue growth by leading the full lifecycle of Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Information (RFI), and proposal development initiatives. The Senior Proposal Specialist ensures high-quality, compliant, and compelling submissions that clearly communicate value and differentiate the organization in competitive bidding environments. Success is defined by increased win rates, on-time submissions, and strong cross-functional coordination. Job Description Lead end-to-end development and submission of RFPs, RFIs, and formal proposals Write, edit, and tailor persuasive, client-facing content aligned to each opportunity Partner with Sales, Marketing, and subject matter experts to gather inputs and refine messaging Maintain proposal libraries, templates, response databases, and reusable content assets Support sales enablement efforts, marketing collateral creation, and conference materials as needed Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field 5-7+ years of experience in proposal development, RFP responses, or bid management Proven experience managing full proposal lifecycles in deadline-driven environments Core Tools & Systems Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) Proposal management platforms (Loopio, RFPIO, Qvidian or similar) CRM systems (Salesforce or similar customer relationship management platforms) Content management systems and digital marketing tools AI-enabled writing and productivity tools Preferred Skills Knowledge of SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and digital content strategy Experience in healthcare, insurance, or benefits-related industries Experience supporting conferences, events, or business development initiatives
