ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The Chief, PEO Services Contracts, in the Office of Contract Services (OCS), provides oversight of the OCS workforce in the PEO Services Contracts portfolio in support of the NGA Senior Procurement Executive (SPE). Specifically, the incumbent:
  • Oversees contract activities for all NGA services contracts;
  • Coordines activities with the PEO for Services;
  • Solves contracting issues with the goals of ensuring the NGAs requirements are met and improving procurement efficiencies and effectiveness throughout NGA;
  • Reviews and approves acquisition planning and contracting efforts for the SPE and supports the Contract Review Board (CRB) as well as supports program planning for the Component Acquisition Executive (CAE) in support of the NGA Acquisition Council (NAC).
  • Participes in the development and implemention of resource and workforce stregies; The Chief, PEO Services Contracts, frequently represents OCS senior level meetings and conferences and assists in the coordinion of activities with other Department of War (DoW), Intelligence Community (IC), and other government agencies.
The incumbent oversees the following contracting divisions: Facilities, Human Capital & Other Services (OCSE), Research & Technology Services (OCSR), and Professional Services (OCSS). The incumbent is responsible for the faithful support of administrion of the law and the President's policy, Government Efficiency, displaying Merit and Competence, demonstring partnership, leadership and mentorship, and expeditiously achieving organizion goals as well as keeping the NGA Senior Procurement Executive and Component Acquisition Executive apprised of all efforts th require senior NGA involvement. This is a Critical Acquisition Position (CAP) which carries significant responsibility and is defined by public law. A 3-year tenure agreement is required for this position. REQUIREMENTS
1. Applicant selected for this position is subject to the completion of a one-year DISL trial period. (Applicants selected from outside NGA may be required to complete a two-year DCIPS trial period if they have not already done so.) 2. This position requires access to classified Defense Department and Intelligence Community informion. The individual selected must already possess, or be immediely eligible for, a

security clearance and access to Sensitive Compartmented Informion. U.S. citizenship is required for the granting of a security clearance. Successful completion of a polygraph examinion is required for employment by NGA. 3. This position is covered under the Ethics in Government Act of 1978 (P.L. 95-521). Incumbent required to file an Executive Personnel Financial Disclosure Report (SF-278) with the NGA Office of General Counsel. 4. Employment is subject to requirements of the NGA Drug Testing Program.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION 1. DISL
positions are established to provide the highest levels of functional and technical expertise by individuals who are recognized leaders and authorities in a specialized field or functional area. The difficulty, complexity, and novelty of DISL work requires creivity, mastery of subject-mter field, and recognition of the professional community. DISL positions have minimal supervisory responsibilities (generally, no more than 25% of work time) and do not have the organizion or program management responsibilities as DISES positions. 2.
Joint Duty Credit:
All NGA executive level positions require Joint Duty credit. Employees will receive joint duty credit in a majority of service or rotional assignments th were least the GS/GG-11 or DCIPS Pay Band 3 level, and generally for least one year, or for 179 days or more when deployed to a designed comb zone on or after September 11, 2001.

(TQ) Intelligence Community Senior Officer Core Qualificions (ICSOCQ): Leading the Intelligence Enterprise. This core qualificion involves the ability to integre resources, informion, interests, and activities effectively in support of the Intelligence Community's (IC) mission and to lead and leverage cross-organizional collaborive networks to achieve significant mission results. Inherent to this senior officer qualificion is a deep understanding of the Intelligence enterprise and a shared commitment to the IC's core values. TQ 1. Expert knowledge of government contracting and the legal basis for contractual authorities and decisions. TQ 2. Demonstred ability designing and implementing acquisition stregies th are innovive, reduce costs, improve schedule, consistent with requirements of law, policy and regulion, and ensure a positive mission outcome. TQ 3: Demonstred strong interpersonal skills through effective customer service delivery, cross-functional collaborion, and employee mentorship and supervision. TQ 4: Demonstred mastery of Federal Acquisition Regulion (FAR) and DoW procurement systems, including stregic understanding of recent acquisition reforms and anticiped policy modernizion efforts. TQ 5: Requires Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Contracting Professional Certificion or equivalent.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
