Houston (The Woodlands) In office 4-5 days a week Overview We're partnering with a publicly traded, market ‑ leading oil and gas services company that plays a vital role in enabling the safe, reliable production and transportation of energy across the United States. With a strong balance sheet, blue ‑ chip institutional backing, and a high ‑ quality, large ‑ scale asset base, the company is recognized for operational excellence, financial discipline, and a long ‑ term, growth ‑ oriented mindset. As a Corporate Development Manager , you will sit at the center of the company's growth strategy. This is a highly visible role offering direct exposure to executive leadership, hands ‑ on ownership of end ‑ to ‑ end M&A transactions, and the chance to influence both organic and inorganic growth initiatives . You'll also have opportunities to engage with key clients and strategic partners, making this a broad, impactful commercial role rather than a purely analytical seat. Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate potential mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic partnerships aligned with long-term growth objectives
  • Build and maintain detailed financial models to support transaction evaluation and investment decisions
  • Coordinate and execute comprehensive due diligence processes in partnership with internal stakeholders and external advisors
  • Prepare investment committee and board-level materials related to strategic transactions Qualifications
  • 4-6 years of investment banking experience , ideally with strong M&A exposure
  • Transaction experience across buy-side and/or sell-side processes
  • Oil & gas, energy, or asset-heavy services industry experience strongly preferred
  • Advanced financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives independently and interact effectively with senior leadership
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business
