Job Description

Vaco Arizona is partnering with a top company in Austin to hire an M&A Associate. This is a contract-to-hire, hybrid opportunity offering up to $110,000 annually. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment and enjoys working across both strategy and execution.
Responsibilities:
Support the full M&A lifecycle, including due diligence, financial analysis, deal support, and integration planning Analyze financial statements, operational processes, and business performance to identify risks, synergies, and growth opportunities Partner with cross-functional teams (finance, operations, legal, IT) to support seamless execution of transactions and integrations Assist in post-merger integration efforts, including tracking milestones, identifying gaps, and ensuring alignment across teams Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior leadership to support strategic decision-making Evaluate existing systems and processes and recommend improvements to drive efficiency and scalability Support data gathering, validation, and documentation throughout the deal lifecycle
Requirements:
4-5+ years of experience in a Business Analyst or similar analytical role Hands-on experience supporting mergers & acquisitions and/or post-merger integrations
Preferred:
Background in wealth management, banking, or financial services Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco/Highspring notes the salary range for the role is noted in this job posting. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
