About the role:
The Senior Strategic Partnerships Director at Color will lead the strategy and execution of the company's channel and partnership ecosystem to drive net-new growth. This Senior Director role is responsible for identifying, building, and scaling high-impact partnerships and distribution channels that expand Color's reach and create leveraged growth opportunities for the sales organization. In addition to defining the long-term partnerships vision, this leader will play a hands-on role in the initial scaling and activation of new and existing partners—ensuring partnerships translate into measurable pipeline, revenue, and member impact. This role will be instrumental in building the foundation for the future Partnerships team, evolving from direct partner management into a scaled, high-performing function over time. How You'll Contribute Partnership Strategy & Growth Define and lead Color's partnership and channel strategy, aligned to company growth objectives Identify, evaluate, and launch new strategic partnerships and distribution channels that drive net-new pipeline and revenue Develop innovative partnership models and new routes to market for new and existing partners Partner closely with Sales leadership to create leveraged selling motions through partners Structure, negotiate, and close complex partnership agreements Represent Color externally at industry events, with partners, and in key market conversations Partner Activation & Performance (Near-Term Ownership) Lead the activation of new partners, ensuring successful onboarding and early-stage performance Build and execute partner activation plans that translate signed partnerships into referral flow, pipeline influence, and revenue impact Ensure Color is embedded within partner platforms, workflows, and member journeys Run joint planning sessions, pipeline reviews, and performance reviews with partners Define and track KPIs including referral volume, conversion rates, revenue influence, and partner engagement Identify friction in partner workflows and implement improvements to drive growth Cross-Functional Execution Partner with Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Product, and Operations to support integrations, co-selling, reporting, and partner enablement Develop onboarding materials, enablement resources, and training for partner-facing teams Clarify positioning, referral criteria, and use cases to make Color easy to understand and recommend Team Building & Scale Build and lead a high-performing partnerships team over time, including dedicated partner activation and management resources Establish systems, processes, and operating rhythms to scale partner success and performance Analyze partnership performance and continuously optimize strategy to maximize impact Our Ideal Candidate Will Have 8+ years of experience in partnerships, channel sales, or business development, with a strong focus on building net-new growth channels Proven track record of sourcing, structuring, and scaling strategic partnerships that drive measurable revenue impact Experience owning both partnership strategy and post-signature execution (activation, GTM, or partner success) Expertise in go-to-market strategy and indirect sales/channel models Strong understanding of healthcare, digital health, or employer benefits ecosystems Exceptional executive presence, communication, and negotiation skills Experience building and scaling teams and functions from the ground up Ability to operate cross-functionally and influence senior stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operations Nice to

Base Salary Range:
$180 - $200K + variable comp The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: work experience, market data, skills, geographic location, and business need. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
