Job Description The Development Associate position plays a key role in supporting team leads with the successful execution of real estate development projects. Responsibilities encompass various stages of the development process, including market analysis, land acquisitions, property due diligence, municipal entitlements, project financing, and project management. This position offers extensive exposure to the full development cycle—from concept to completion—and provides invaluable opportunities to gain expertise in best practices and the execution of real estate projects. Responsibilities
  • Underwriting and modeling of potential projects
  • Performing market research and identifying high potential investment zones
  • Publishing of investment and development memorandums
  • Build relationships with brokers in various markets and source deals
  • Market analysis of rents, rent rolls, demographics, tenant profiles, etc.
  • Due diligence of land acquisition and project development, and monitoring deal execution
  • Participating in the entitlement process
  • Tracking local economics and originating research material
  • Contributing to business development Experience Reference
  • Bachelor Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related discipline, preferably with a real estate focus
  • Strong analytical and writing skills with the ability to express complex financial ideas
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated with a keen interest in the development process
  • Ability to interact with internal and external clients professionally in a fast paced, high-energy environment
  • Ability to be an independent worker and to take direction from seasoned professionals
  • Trustworthy person that respects confidentiality and non-disclosure Computer Skills
  • Strong background with Word and Excel, Argus understanding is a plus
  • Knowledge of operating with Microsoft 365 suite. Industry
