Overall Responsibility:
The Corporate Philanthropy Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth through the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of corporate donors and corporate foundations. This role focuses on managing a portfolio of corporate giving relationships and aligning donor investments with the organization's strategic priorities, including food security, health, education, sustainable development, and emergency response. Serving as a relationship manager and philanthropic strategist, this role works closely with corporate donors to translate their corporate social responsibility (CSR) and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) priorities into meaningful, results-driven funding opportunities. The Manager ensures a high-quality donor experience through strong stewardship, transparent reporting, and measurable impact. This position collaborates cross-functionally with internal teams-including Programs, Marketing, Communications, and Strategic Partnerships-to support the execution of corporate-funded initiatives, ensuring alignment between donor expectations and organizational delivery. Key outcomes include increased corporate giving revenue, strong donor retention and growth, and enhanced visibility of corporate impact across the organization's global programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Corporate Giving Portfolio Management Build, manage, and grow a portfolio of corporate donors and prospects through strategic cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship. Develop and execute individualized engagement strategies to increase donor investment and long-term commitment. Secure corporate contributions, including grants, sponsorships, and employee giving initiatives. Revenue Generation & Donor Strategy Identify and pursue new corporate giving opportunities aligned with organizational funding priorities. Develop tailored proposals, concept notes, and funding opportunities that align donor interests with programmatic needs. Support the achievement of annual revenue targets for corporate philanthropy. Donor Stewardship & Engagement Serve as the primary point of contact for corporate donors within assigned portfolio. Ensure consistent, high-quality communication, reporting, and recognition of corporate contributions. Strengthen donor relationships through ongoing engagement and value-driven interactions.
CSR & ESG
Alignment Align organizational initiatives with corporate CSR and ESG priorities to position compelling funding opportunities. Stay informed on trends in corporate giving, CSR, and ESG to enhance donor engagement strategies. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with internal teams to support the design, execution, and reporting of donor-funded programs. Coordinate with Strategic Partnerships and Marketing teams to ensure alignment in corporate engagement efforts and messaging. Support the execution of corporate engagement activities such as volunteer activations and cause-related campaigns. Data Management & Reporting Utilize CRM systems to track donor engagement, manage pipeline activity, and report on revenue performance. Monitor and analyze portfolio performance, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement. Prepare donor reports demonstrating impact, outcomes, and return on philanthropic investment. Representation & External Engagement Represent the organization in meetings, conferences, and networking events to strengthen corporate visibility and engagement. Maintain a strong understanding of the organization's programs to effectively communicate impact and funding needs.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in areas like Business, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or related field required; advanced degree preferred. Minimum of 7 years of experience in corporate philanthropy, fundraising, or corporate relations within a nonprofit or international development environment. Minimum of 5 years of direct management experience leading fundraising teams. Proven track record of securing and managing corporate giving relationships and achieving revenue targets. Experience working with CSR and ESG frameworks and corporate donor engagement strategies.

Ability to travel for donor meetings, events, and organizational activities; a valid driver's license is required. Occasional international travel may be required.
