Marina Operations Manager A well-established private marina in Southwest Florida is seeking an experienced Marina Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a member-owned marina and clubhouse. This is a unique opportunity for an organized, hands-on professional who enjoys working with people, coordinating projects, and managing daily operations. While prior marina experience is preferred, candidates with a background in community association management, property management, hospitality, facilities management, or similar operational leadership roles are encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate is someone who can successfully coordinate vendors, communicate effectively with owners and a Board of Directors, oversee maintenance and capital projects, maintain regulatory compliance, and keep daily operations running smoothly. Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations of the marina and common areas. Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, vendors, contractors, and the Board. Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and capital improvement projects. Conduct regular inspections of docks, marina facilities, and common areas. Prepare reports and assist with budgeting and financial planning. Coordinate Board meetings and maintain operational records. Ensure compliance with environmental and governmental regulations. Oversee vendor contracts and project timelines. Assist with hurricane preparedness and emergency response. Foster a professional, customer-focused experience for marina owners and guests. Qualifications Experience in marina operations, community association management (CAM), property management, hospitality management, facilities management, or a related operational leadership role. Marina or waterfront experience is preferred but not required. Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills. Experience working with Boards, owners, vendors, and contractors. Ability to manage multiple priorities while working independently. Professional, proactive, and solution-oriented approach. Schedule Full-time Monday through Friday, with flexibility for occasional evenings, weekends, and emergency response.
Pay:
$1.00 - $2.00 per year
