Job Description
Overview This is not a "manage the front desk" job. This is an opportunity to lead the energy, culture, sales growth, and daily operations of a fast-growing boutique fitness gym. One high-energy leader can completely change the atmosphere of a gym — and we're looking for that person. You'll spend about 50% of your time driving memberships, building relationships, following up with leads, and creating an unforgettable member experience. The other 50% is leading operations: developing coaches, managing schedules, planning events, maintaining standards, and helping the gym run at a high level every single day. We want someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, brings positive energy into every room, leads from the front, and loves accountability, teamwork, and growth. service. Understanding that the reason it is called work is because the position requiresWORK Lead and Sell:
Responsible for the continued growth through sales Implement/Execute all current Marketing Strategies Listen to team members' feedback Inspire and motivate teamwork for achieving goals Monitor team members' participation to ensure the training they are being provided is being put into use Recognize and acknowledge the skills of key team members and utilize their strengths to the benefit of the team Align meetings and training with overall business goals and initiatives Lead staff meetings to ensure all team members stay informed: 1-on-1 Quarterly Staff Evaluations Weekly Staff Meetings Quarterly Planning Meetings In addition to regular hours; also expected to attend and assist at all Company Events, Challenges, Staff Meetings, and additional training or coaching workshopsOperations:
Manage the flow of day-to-day operations and client accounts Maintain customer service standards Monitor and control expenses within the allotted budget Organize all tracking for acquisition and retention Collaborate and stay connected with HQ to meet and exceed standards Prepare various promotional materials and in-store displays Oversee stock levels and order new items when required Ensure facility is maintained clean, safe and orderly Ensure equipment is kept in good working condition Mediate disagreements between members. Set a behavioral code if necessaryRetention:
Ensure high levels of customers satisfaction through excellent service Deal with all issues that arise from customers (complaints, grievances etc) Oversee delivery and delegation of the systems for the ultimate athlete experience Qualifications Proven experience in either: team leadership in retail environment with supervisory responsibilities, assistant manager, fitness sales, community manager, sales associate Strong and confident in sales and training & development Adept in employee orientation Demonstrated expertise in inventory management, POS systems operation, merchandising, and retail math Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to supervise teams effectively while fostering a positive work culture Strong communication skills combined with organizational skills for efficient operations Previous assistant manager or shift management experience with proven sales experience preferred.
