The Opportunity Valvoline has a rewarding opportunity as a Sr. Corporate Development Analyst. The Corporate Development Analyst works closely with Valvoline's business development, real estate analytics, operations, legal, construction, and store integration teams to acquire, lease, or purchase quick lube service centers from owner/operators and landlords across the US and Canada. Additionally, the Corporate Development Analyst will assist in various ad hoc corporate development adjacent projects. How You'll Make a Difference Work directly with quick lube owners or landlords on a business valuation that will lead to an offer to purchase or a lease offer using real estate comparables Analyze the opportunity, build support, and then work internally for deal approval Manage project timelines from inception to closing Development of management presentations, including those given to the New Unit Review Committee and the Valvoline Leadership Team Other duties and responsibilities as determined by Valvoline from time to time in its sole discretion What You'll Need to
Succeed Education:
Business or Accounting or Related BS, MBA or MS preferredWork Experience:
Minimum of five years applicable experience in Accounting, Finance, or related field, including real estate Strong analytical skills; proven financial planning, analysis, modeling and valuation experience Adequate communication skills with both external and internal stakeholders Ability to work with all levels of management and professionals Must be self-directed High proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint is required Strong organization and presentation skills Effective negotiating skills Ability to work under tight deadlines, flexible Must be authorized to work in the U.S. We Take Care of the WHOLE You Health insurance plans (medical, dental, vision) HSA and flexible spending accounts 401(k) Incentive opportunity- Life insurance Short and long-term disability insurance Paid vacation and holidays
