The Investments department is responsible for evaluating, executing, and managing strategic investment opportunities for the Company, including acquisitions, joint ventures, ground-up developments, redevelopments, and financings. The Manager, Investments is a key member of the team, supporting all aspects of the investment process from sourcing and initial underwriting through transaction closing and ongoing asset management. This position primarily will function as a combination of (i) financial underwriting- building and maintaining detailed excel models to evaluate investments and financings; (ii) market and portfolio analysis
- research and benchmarking to inform strategy and investment decisions; and (iii) deal execution
- supporting due diligence process, internal approvals and communication, and facilitating communication with capital partners and lenders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required (preferably in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field) with Three (3) to Five (5) years of financial analysis, strategic planning, and/or market research experience (real estate experience preferred and seniors housing experience is a plus). Proficiency in transactional finance concepts (NPV/DCF/IRR, sources and uses, debt structuring, capitalization, returns analysis) Strong financial modeling and valuation skills (advanced Excel proficiency required) Ability to interpret financial statements (P+Ls), operating data, and market research and demographic data Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present analyses and recommendations clearly and persuasively Experience preparing materials for senior management and external stakeholders preferred May require limited travel (10%) on behalf of the Company. Position requires driving responsibilities (may use Company provided vehicle and/or personal vehicle). Must possess valid driver's license. Must satisfactorily meet and be in compliance with Atria Motor Vehicle Policy standards. Must successfully complete all Atria-specified training programs.Similar jobs in Louisville, KY
