The Bispecifics franchise is focused on the next wave of immuno-oncology (IO) bispecific therapies that are designed to empower the immune system to more effectively recognize and kill cancer cells. We seek a highly skilled Global Commercial Lead to join our leadership team and guide the commercialization strategy for a novel IO Bispecific asset. This strategic role is integral to our Global Commercial Franchise Team in the Oncology Business Unit, advancing our mission to transform cancer care worldwide.
Accountabilities:
Develop and drive a comprehensive global commercialization strategy for a Bispecifics brand, enhancing portfolio value across multiple tumor areas and indications. Collaborate with Global Product Team (GPT), R D Franchise leadership, and global cross functional teams including Insights and Analytics, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Diagnostics, and other vital functions, ensuring alignment and effective execution of short and long term strategic initiatives. Lead the Integrated Brand Teams, partnering with Regional and Country teams, to craft and implement a unified global brand strategy, develop commercialization plans and deliver launch excellence. Shape and set in motion cutting-edge commercialization strategies and programs, ensuring effective launch readiness. Engage and partner with Regional/Country teams to facilitate knowledge sharing and strategy optimization across various markets. Provide strategic commercial input and influence LCM plans and revenue forecasts, guided by robust customer insights and commercial judgment. Nurture a high-performing matrixed team, fostering innovation, collaboration, and strategic thinking. Represent the Bispecific business perspectives in cross-functional forums and senior executive meetings, advocating commercialization priorities. Champion the co-development of patient-centric solutions, external partnerships, and sustainable pricing and access strategies.
Essential Skills & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (business or life sciences). Over 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical development and commercialization, with proven expertise in strategic marketing and launch excellence. Strong ability to collaborate across scientific and commercial teams, demonstrating strategic and analytical skills. Demonstrated success in pre-launch and launch excellence, with robust insight generation and competitive landscape analysis capabilities.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
MBA or advanced degree in a related field. Previous sales or customer-facing experience. Management experience with diverse teams. Ability to thrive in ambiguity and lead innovative projects with strategic foresight. This position is based at our Gaithersburg, MD campus, headquarters for the US and Global Oncology Business Units. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles), to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles), and commission payment eligibility (sales roles). Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
