Job Description

The Gateway Region YMCA is one of the leading nonprofit charitable organizations in the St. Louis metropolitan region, with a focus on nurturing the potential of every child and teen, improving health and well-being, and supporting and serving our neighbors. For more than 170 years, the Y's mission has been to put Christian principles into practice through programs designed to build healthy spirits, minds and bodies for all. We do that by being the center of communities, serving more than 260,000 individuals annually through 25 traditional Y facilities located in St. Louis City, eight Missouri counties and six Illinois counties, as well as YMCA Trout Lodge and YMCA Camp Lakewood, the YMCA Community Development Branch, and our Washington University Campus Y Branch. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree is required with 3-5 years professional program development and evaluation experience is preferred. Ability to assist branches in creating a strong case for financial development support. Strong interpersonal skills, verbal & written skills, organizational skills, and detailed oriented. Ability to navigate a complex organization and inspire staff to embrace change. Capable of building trust with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to coordinate multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Possess a high level of organizational knowledge, experience and proficiency. Ability to effectively teach, coach, mentor and develop staff of all levels. Ability to teach and lead Continuous Quality Improvement methodologies and process improvement.
