Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Manager Physician Assistant (PA) / Nurse Practitioner (NP) Clinical + Leadership Opportunity | Urgent Care Overview We're seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner ready to step into a hybrid leadership role -combining hands-on patient care with oversight of a team of Advanced Practice Providers. This is an opportunity to lead, mentor, and influence care delivery while staying clinically active in a fast-paced urgent care environment. What You'll Do Clinical (≈75%) Evaluate and treat patients across a wide range of acute conditions (e.g., respiratory illness, minor injuries, infections) Perform procedures such as suturing, splinting, and wound care Order and interpret diagnostics (X-rays, EKGs, labs) Identify higher-acuity cases and appropriately escalate to ER when needed Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across all age groups Leadership & Operations (≈25%) Lead and directly supervise a team of APPs within the service line Coach and mentor providers to improve clinical quality and performance Monitor key metrics (clinical, operational, patient satisfaction) and drive improvements Partner with Medical Directors and site leaders on staffing, workflows, and provider utilization Support onboarding, training, and ongoing development of APPs Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement What We're Looking For Current licensure as a PA or NP Board certification in either Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine Ability to treat adult and pediatric patients Prior administrative and leadership experience Take the next step in your career with us at Mercy-GoHealth!
