Job Duties/Responsibilities:

Oversee the team responsible for engineering design on roadways and multi-modal transportation corridor projects Serve as a technical specialist in roadway design, alignment and grade, hydraulics, right-of-way, or other design specialty areas Manage team effort to meet goals for project delivery and quality while managing budget and schedule Develop new business for the team and prepare proposals for major project pursuits Develop and maintain client relationships Create a positive working environment through supportive teamwork, proactive communication and enthusiastic attitude Other duties as assigned

Minimum Education Requirements:

B.S. in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Environmental Engineering or a related field Required Qualifications (skills/experience/certifications): PE License in Montana, or ability to obtain by reciprocity 10+ years of relevant transportation and roadway design experience Demonstrated ability to manage a team, work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members Strong technical writing and presentation skills Preferred Qualifications (skills/experience/certifications): Experience working with MDT or similar DOT client preferred Demonstrated experience with design software (MicroStation/OpenRoads or AutoCAD)
