We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our clinical team in delivering exceptional care in a long-term care and skilled nursing environment. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference while advancing your leadership career. About the Role As Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our Health Services Center Department—from staffing and compliance to quality assurance and resident outcomes. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of care and regulatory excellence. Work Schedule This is a full-time salaried position that is regularly scheduled to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. As a clinical leader, the Director of Nursing must also be available to work additional hours as needed including to support operations, address staffing needs, respond to emergencies, and ensure quality resident care. Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and supervise the nursing team, including: 3 RN Unit Managers 1 RN MDS Specialist Nursing Supervisors 3 Unit Coordinators 1 Staffing/Scheduling Coordinator Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations Oversee clinical operations, resident care plans, assessments, and outcomes Implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives Manage staffing, budgeting, and resource allocation Serve as a key member of the Health Services Center leadership team Requirements Current RN license in New Hampshire Minimum of 3-5 years of nursing leadership experience in long-term care or skilled nursing Strong knowledge of state and federal long-term care regulations Proven leadership and team-building skills Strong working knowledge of PointClickCare (PCC) Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
