Job Description

Quality of Earnings Analyst Our wholly-owned subsidiary, Brisbane Consulting Group, LLC currently seeks a Quality of Earnings (QoE) Analyst who will assist us in continuing to provide a positive and supportive work environment. Brisbane Consulting Group is the largest business valuation and management consulting firm in Buffalo, NY. We offer exceptional expertise in business valuation, license and degree valuation, forensic accounting, and the quantification of lost business income, commercial damages, and other financial services. The QoE Analyst will work closely with private equity firms, strategic buyers, and business owners on M&A due diligence engagements.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyze financial statements to assess historical earnings and recurring profitability Prepare and support QoE reports that include adjusted EBITDA calculations, revenue normalization, and working capital analysis Identify and explain non-recurring transactions or accounting anomalies Assist in drafting executive-level presentations and summaries Collaborate with senior team members to deliver timely, accurate, and actionable insights Support clients through buy-side and sell-side transactions
EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field CPA or CPA-eligible strongly preferred Business Valuation experience (highly desirable) 2-4 years of experience in public accounting, audit, or transaction advisory (Big 4 or Top 200 firm a plus) Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced knowledge in Word and Excel Experience with M&A, valuation, or due diligence engagements is a plus Capable of managing multiple projects and communicating complex findings clearly Capable of working in a collaborative and fast-paced team environment
