PRD:
Ghost Squad, a PA affiliate travel organization currently running 14 teams from 9U through 17U. We are growing rapidly and are looking for the right leader to take the program to the next level ? expanding our lesson and clinic business, developing our coaching staff, and strengthening our presence as the premier baseball destination in the region. Position Overview The Baseball Director is the face and first point of contact for all baseball operations at the facility. This is a senior leadership role that blends elite baseball expertise with proven business acumen and a relentless growth mindset. The right candidate is not only a highly qualified baseball professional ? they are an entrepreneur at heart, driven to grow lessons, clinics, camps, and club teams into a thriving, revenue-generating program. This person leads from the front: recruiting players, developing coaches, converting inquiries, and building lasting relationships with families and the local baseball community. This is not a desk job. The Baseball Director is expected to be on the floor coaching ? running lessons, leading clinics, working with teams, and actively participating in camps. Management and administrative responsibilities are built around a coaching schedule, not the other way around. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable in the cage with a player as they are closing a new family, leading a staff meeting, or reviewing weekly revenue numbers with ownership. Program Leadership & Growth ? Serve as the primary face and leader of the baseball program ? visible, present, and accountable ? Drive growth of private and group lessons, clinics, and camps through active promotion and conversion ? Recruit and develop new club/academy teams, expanding the program?s footprint and revenue ? Create and execute a seasonal programming calendar for clinics, camps, and special events ? Set and track weekly revenue goals; report directly to ownership on program performance Sales & Business Development ? Respond to all lesson and program inquiries promptly and convert leads into enrolled participants ? Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective players and families ? Identify new revenue opportunities within the baseball program (sponsorships, partnerships, team contracts, and new programming) ? Develop pricing strategies and package offerings to maximize lesson and program revenue ? Represent the facility at tournaments, showcases, and community events to drive brand awareness On-Floor Coaching (Core Expectation) ? Actively coach private and semi-private lessons on a regular, scheduled basis ? this is a core part of the role, not optional ? Lead and instruct clinics and camps hands-on, from planning through execution and on-field delivery ? Be present and coaching during team practices, training sessions, and facility events ? Model the standard of instruction and player development that all facility coaches are expected to uphold ? Maintain a personal lesson roster that supports both program revenue and direct player relationships Coaching & Staff Development ? Hire, train, and hold coaches accountable to program standards and player development philosophy ? Provide ongoing mentorship and development to coaching staff ? Establish and enforce curriculum standards for all player development offerings ? Build a coaching culture where staff take ownership of their players? development and the program?s reputation Parent & Community Relations ? Serve as the primary contact for parent communication, relationships, and conflict resolution ? Create a culture of trust, transparency, and excellence that retains families year over year ? Manage the facility?s baseball social media presence and help develop marketing content ? Work closely with the Facility Manager and ownership to coordinate scheduling and ensure baseball programming integrates smoothly with all facility operationsSimilar jobs in Newtown, PA
