Job Description

We are currently seeking a Full-Time Director of Adolescent Services in our Behavioral Health Services to direct and administer the day-to-day operations of Adolescent Services. Coordinate department services with other Horizon House service/support departments, and with funding sources and other provider organizations. Identify and pursue new business development to improve existing services and to respond to changing consumer needs/interests. Receives general supervision from the Regional Director of Behavioral Health Services, Supervises directors and staff of all Adolescent units, providing individual supervision and training, conducting staff meetings, and assisting with administrative and clinical supervision of other department staff as needed. Other Responsibilities, but not all-inclusive: Ensures the program's health and safety through tracking and monitoring. Participates in all QI activities, including Performance Improvement and Incident Management. Create, implement, and monitor systems to maintain and improve service utilization, outcomes, and consumer/staff satisfaction.
Qualifications :
Master's Degree in Human Services, Social Services Science, or a related field, and at least 15 years of related experience, including no less than 10 years of employment in administrative and/or management positions. 3-5 years of direct supervisory experience in management-level positions in behavioral health/human services Accomplished developer of effective work teams. Excellent writing and communication skills. Knowledge of clinical and rehabilitation services and service systems. Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Scope:
Frequent listening, talking, and writing require the ability to lift, carry, fold, kneel, reach, stack, stoop, bend, and sit for extended periods. Intervention with emergency client situations. Local travel. On-call with the ability to respond in person when needed. Certified client incident investigator and scheduled for investigations.
