Job Description

Greenberg Traurig (GT), a global law firm, has a dynamic full-time employment opportunity for a mid-senior level Associate in our Corporate Practice. This is a location flexible position primarily working with attorneys in the Corporate practices of our Tampa and Fort Lauderdale offices. Consideration will be given to interested candidates across multiple East Coast office locations, with this team frequently working across the GT platform. Job Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have 4-7 years of significant experience in corporate transactions with an emphasis on public M&A, take-private transactions and general corporate governance. Candidates must have a strong working knowledge of acquisition agreements and other documentation used in complex M&A transactions and proficiency in drafting the same. Candidates should be well-versed in the mechanics of leading an M&A transaction from inception to closing and have experience leading due diligence teams. This position requires a candidate with strong interpersonal skills, a high degree of maturity, and a proven willingness to accept significant responsibility, work independently and manage a challenging workload within a fast-paced environment. Candidates should have the ability to work effectively as part of a team across practice areas. Strong academic credentials and writing skills are essential. New York City:
$320,000 to $410,000 annually Salary will be determined based upon education, experience, job related factors permitted by law, internal equity, and market data, including geographic pay differentials in locations where market pay differs from the national average. Full time employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, health insurance with an optional HSA, short term disability, long term disability, dental insurance, vision care, life insurance, Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, 401K, vacation, sick time, and an employee assistance program.
Additional voluntary programs include:
voluntary accident insurance, voluntary life, voluntary disability, voluntary critical illness and cancer insurance and pet insurance. Commuter and Transit programs may also be available in certain markets.
