At DDA, we are responsible for administration and oversight of services and supports for more than 1.5 million older adults and Tennesseans with disabilities.
Job Overview:

Strategic Leadership and Operational Management Team Leadership and Development Program Development and Service Delivery Stakeholder Engagement and Relationship Management Operational and Administrative Oversight Innovation and Process Improvement Financial and Administrative Oversight Quality, Compliance and Risk Management Additional duties as required Develop and execute the strategic vision for the assigned Innovation Center. Develop and manage the center's annual budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources by identifying opportunities for efficiency and streamlining tasks. Establish and implement policies, procedures, and operational protocols. Analyze operational metrics and financial data to inform strategic decisions and report on center performance to senior leadership. Ensure compliance with all organizational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Team Leadership & Development Lead, mentor, and manage a multidisciplinary team, including clinicians, technicians, and administrative staff. Oversee the full employee lifecycle for the center's staff, including recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and performance management. Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance work environment. Identify and support professional development opportunities for staff to build a high-performing team. Program & Service Delivery Oversee the delivery of all core services, including traditional seating and positioning services while expanding services to include new and innovative support. Manage and coordinate the schedule for clinical services and the schedule for community training and educational events. Spearhead the development and implementation of new programs, services, and training initiatives for the community. Ensure the highest quality and safety standards are met in all service and innovation activities. Stakeholder Engagement & Relationship Management Serve as the primary liaison and brand ambassador for the Innovation Center with the community, industry partners, and internal stakeholders. Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, healthcare providers, and industry collaborators. Represent the center at community events and professional forums to enhance its visibility and impact. Actively market the center's services and successes to expand its reach and impact. Operational & Administrative Oversight. Oversee the procurement of supplies, equipment, and technology for the center. Approve and manage purchase orders, ensuring alignment with budget and strategic goals. Oversee the management of the center's inventory, including equipment and materials. Ensure the facility, equipment, and technology infrastructure are maintained and operational. Ensure data is kept for accurate dashboards and routine reporting requirements. Innovation & Process Improvement Work closely with the Innovation Manager to develop and manage the innovation pipeline, from ideation to pilot projects. Pilot and evaluate new service models, technologies, and clinical approaches. Analyze program outcomes and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality. Research and integrate industry best practices and emerging trends in assistive technology and service delivery. Financial & Administrative Oversight Manage the center's operational budget, including forecasting, expense tracking, and variance analysis. Ensure accurate and timely reporting on utilization, outcomes, and financial performance. Ensure all administrative functions, including scheduling, billing, and documentation, are performed accurately and in a timely manner. Quality, Compliance, & Risk Management Ensure all center activities comply with relevant regulations, including HIPAA and other industry-specific standards. Implement and oversee quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives. Manage risk by ensuring all safety protocols are followed and that the centers practices meet or exceed industry standards. Serve as a backup for other center functions, as licensure and qualifications allow, to ensure operational continuity.

Minimum Qualifications:
Preferred qualifications: Advanced degree (Master's) in business, public administration, technology, innovation management, organizational leadership or related field. 10+ years of progressive leadership experience with innovation, research and development, strategic planning, technology utilization or organizational transformation. Demonstrated success in building new programs, departments, centers or initiatives from the ground up. Proven track record of securing funding, managing budgets, or overseeing grant-supported initiatives. Experience developing and implementing multi-year innovation strategies aligned with organizational goals. Expertise in fostering innovation culture, including agile methodologies, human-centered design or strategic foresight practices. Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex projects across organizational boundaries. Strong communication and presentation abilities, with experience representing an organization to executive leadership, and/or public audiences. Experience developing talent pipelines, mentoring staff, and supporting organizational capacity-building.
