In this role, you will oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initial due diligence and requirements gathering to program development, implementation, and post-merger integration. Your leadership will ensure seamless execution by coordinating cross-functional teams, managing risks, and maintaining strict scope, schedule, and budget controls. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape strategic growth initiatives while utilizing advanced project management methodologies and tools to deliver measurable results. Duties Lead end-to-end M&A projects by developing detailed project plans aligned with corporate strategies, including scope management, risk management, and resource allocation. Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to define project objectives, business process models, and technical specifications. Apply project management methodologies such as Agile frameworks like SAFe, and Waterfall approaches to ensure flexible yet disciplined execution. Coordinate project schedules using tools like Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, or Project Online; monitor progress through earned value management and project scheduling techniques. Conduct root cause analysis and process mapping to identify inefficiencies during integration phases; implement Lean Six Sigma or Kaizen practices for continuous improvement. Manage vendor relationships and contracts while overseeing vendor management activities to ensure quality deliverables within scope and budget constraints. Facilitate meetings effectively across diverse teams using presentation skills and conflict management techniques; utilize collaboration platforms such as SharePoint, Confluence, or Jira for seamless communication. Track project performance metrics through data analysis skills; prepare comprehensive reports on project status, risks, costs, and benefits for executive review. Lead change management initiatives by promoting organizational change readiness and ensuring smooth transitions during mergers or acquisitions. Requirements Proven experience supervising complex projects within a mergers and acquisitions environment with a strong understanding of the full project management lifecycle. Expertise in program development, program design, and program management with a focus on strategic growth initiatives. Strong knowledge of project management methodologies including PMBOK, Agile (SAFe), Waterfall, Lean Six Sigma, and risk management practices. Demonstrated ability in requirements analysis, scope management, requirements gathering, process mapping, and business process modeling. Proficiency with project management software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Jira, Smartsheet or equivalent tools for scheduling and tracking progress. Excellent organizational skills combined with leadership capabilities to supervise teams effectively across multiple projects. Skilled in negotiation, conflict resolution, meeting facilitation, and communication to align stakeholders at all levels. Technical expertise in IT infrastructure projects related to integrations or system upgrades post-M&A activities is preferred. Ability to analyze data for decision-making using tools like SAS or Salesforce; experience with ERP systems or product lifecycle management is a plus.
