Job Description The Senior Administrative Business Partner provides diverse expertise and high-quality administrative support to Senior and Executive Management and staff in Early Clinical Development. The role anticipates, determines, and fulfills business partners' needs in a proactive, organized, and customer-oriented manner. Interactions may involve matters of sensitivity, partnering with leadership and staff to identify efficiencies across work groups.Responsibilities:
Proactively manage and maintain complex calendars and meetings for business partners. Coordinate and manage complex travel needs and logistics. Plan large internal meetings such as department meetings and committee sessions. Leverage advanced knowledge of Genentech IT systems, including cSuite and virtual collaboration tools. Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders with confidentiality. Create contracts and purchase orders, and process payments and expense reports. Coordinate candidate scheduling and interview processes. Manage and plan team-building events and workshops. Independently lead planning and execution of complex team offsites across multiple locations and days, including activities and travel needs. Draft email communications on behalf of managers, teams, departments, and leaders. Manage departmental gSites, Slack, websites, newsletters, and related channels, including content collection, distribution, and maintenance oversight. Provide project management support for Quality Compliance & Clinical Capabilities (QC3) projects and initiatives. Perform additional duties as assigned based on business need.Required Skills & Qualifications:
5-7 years of related administrative, operations, or project management experience. Pharmaceutical or biotechnology experience preferred. BS/BA degree or equivalent industry experience. Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. Advanced proficiency with cSuite tools, including Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Sheets, Google Slides, Trello, Jamboard, Google Meet, and Zoom; ability to train others as needed. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and execute tasks independently; support coordination of team workflows. Collaborative approach to team development and cross-functional coordination. Sound judgment and discretion with sensitive, confidential, and proprietary information. High accuracy and attention to detail; uphold quality standards for the team. Ability to make decisions independently with minimal external input. Experience partnering with senior leaders and management.Preferred Skills:
Experience supporting Early Clinical Development or similar R D functions. Experience planning multi-day, multi-location offsites and large internal events. Why BCforward?
