Hybrid Ford's Model E team is charged with delivering the company's vision of a fully electric transportation future. The opportunity This role offers a unique chance to own the end-to-end lifecycle of Model e's most critical strategic initiatives—from initial problem-solving to operational rollout. You will focus on scaling our retail charging strategy, moving it from a high-level vision to a high-performing market reality. As a leader of these strategic and operational workstreams, you will serve as a key partner to Model e senior leadership, ensuring our most ambitious goals are met with precision, speed, and measurable business impact. The role As a Model e Strategy Senior Manager reporting to the Senior Director of Model e Strategy you will play a key leadership role developing and delivering the Model e 2030 strategy, including our comprehensive charging strategy, and building a strong business unit strategy team. In the role, you will:Architect Actionable Strategies:
Rigorously frame and structure complex challenges to identify the highest-leverage opportunities for growth. You won't just define the "what," but will map out the "how," guiding workstream leaders to ensure every strategic project has a clear path to commercial execution.Drive Breakthrough Solutions:
Design and lead problem-solving engines for Model e's most critical hurdles, particularly in EV adoption and charging infrastructure. You will unlock organizational bottlenecks, resource teams for maximum impact, and ensure that strategic solutions are scalable and sustainable. Convert Insights intoCompetitive Advantage:
Oversee the development of a robust, data-driven fact base that moves beyond "interesting" data to "decisive" action. You will lead teams to leverage EV charging data and customer behavior trends to make high-stakes trade-offs that improve our market position.Deliver Measurable Outcomes:
Lead teams in translating complex analysis into tangible business results. You will be accountable for moving our retail charging strategy from a recommendation to a phased roadmap with clear KPIs, ensuring that strategic intent results in a superior customer experience and business growth. Confidently lead strategic dialogues and challenge the status quo to accelerate decision-making. You will act as a catalyst for change, securing deep commitment (not just buy-in) from C-suite executives and cross-functional partners to ensure the enterprise is aligned for rapid execution. Act as a strategic leader and developer of talent, building high-performing teams that are obsessed with impact. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in strategy demonstrating significant senior-level strategic leadership (or Master's Degree and 7-10 years of experience). Proven experience leading high impact cross-functional projects at a global scale, working with various levels of the organization. Inherently curious, analytically inclined and love solving complex problems. Deep business acumen and expertise about fundamentals of the automotive industry, particularly the EV market, charging ecosystem, competitive dynamics, trends, best practices, and company operations. Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and challenging the status quo, being self-driven, and bringing creative solutions to lead the resolution of complex issues. Demonstrated expertise presenting to and influencing executive leaders including C-Suite. Love teaching, mentoring, and apprenticing colleagues and your team members. Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint (written presentations for a senior executive audience), Excel (mathematical modeling of large data sets), Word (white papers). Even better, you may have... Previous roles within Strategy organizations or at Management Consulting firms in Manager, Senior Manager, or Director roles, with experience in the EV or energy sectors. Prior experience leading strategy projects and large-scale programs/projects at a global scale with cross-functional teams, specifically related to EV product launches or charging solutions.Work Location & Hybrid Model:

This position is leadership level 5 and ranges from $141,700-$268,300 in Deaborn, MI and from $148,800-$281,700 in Palo Alto, CA and Long Beach, CA. Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
