The company also operates AMC Studios, our in-house studio, production, and distribution operation behind acclaimed and fan-favorite originals including The Walking Dead Universe and the Anne Rice Immortal Universe, and AMC Networks International, our international programming business. We are currently seeking a Vice President, Strategic Finance and Corp Dev to join our Strategic Finance & Treasury team based in our New York, NY offices.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead cross-functional deal teams through all stages of the M&A process, from due diligence, financial analysis and negotiation through deal close and post-close integration, with accountability for successful financial, strategic and integration outcome Oversee team to build and maintain long-term consolidated company forecast model, make recommendations for required re-financing and scenario planning Collaborate with the FP&A group for budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for the company Conduct various ad-hoc financial analyses to drive key business decisions across the organization Partner with the executive team on other corporate development initiatives including strategic investments and capital market transactions Support debt covenant compliance activities (on a quarterly and annual basis) and tracking lender activities Assist the executive team on Board level communications, including quarterly reporting packages and ad hoc analysesQUALIFICATIONS
(Required & Preferred) Bachelor's degree 10-15 years of relevant work experience, ideally in Investment Banking Exceptional problem-solving, business judgment, and analytical skills Significant expertise with operating and financial modeling and valuation analysis Strategic mindset with an ability to think broadly, refine questions and develop analytical frameworks Ability to drive projects autonomously from planning to implementation, with limited oversight Experience leading in all aspects of the M&A process, with progressively increasing responsibility and accountability for positive outcomes Solid understanding of capital markets, cash flow modeling techniques, experience issuing/refinancing debt Strong interpersonal and communication skills, particularly verbal, visual and written, as well as attention to detail and focus on execution and results A team player with the ability to establish credibility and work cross functionally with senior/executive management, to build strong internal networks and business relationships The base compensation for this position is $200,000 - $250,000 commensurate with experience.
