401(k) Dental insurance Employee discounts Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance LeafSpring School at Wyndham, an accredited preschool located in Glen Allen, VA, is seeking a Program Director for our Before/After School , School-Age Summer Camp , and Elementary School Programs . We are looking for an experienced, creative, passionate, and flexible individual to lead, support, manage, and guide our growing school.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

Overseeing operations to ensure compliance with all applicable standards and regulations. Building strong relationships with families and staff. Recruiting, hiring, counseling, training, and managing all personnel. Maintaining and managing enrollment. Ensuring program quality. Creating and managing budgets. Providing excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.

CANDIDATE MUST POSSESS THE FOLLOWING

A strong commitment to early education and school-aged recreation. Top-notch customer service skills. An upbeat, positive attitude and work ethic in a fast-paced environment. Expert computer skills, including but not limited to Microsoft products and child management systems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Highly effective organizational, time management, and multitasking skills. Willingness to work a flexible schedule between the hours of 6:30 AM and 6:30 PM.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in early or elementary education, child development, or another child-related field, with a minimum of five years (not necessarily consecutive) of experience teaching young children in a group setting. OR Master's Degree in early or elementary education, child development, or another child-related field, with a minimum of two years (not necessarily consecutive) of experience teaching young children in a group setting.

Other:

A genuine love for children and an ability to relate well to them, their families, and teachers. A minimum of one year of supervisory experience in an early educational, elementary, or recreational setting. Demonstrated team-building accomplishments, fostering group collaboration toward common goals. Previous experience in a NAEYC-accredited program is preferred. CPR and First Aid certification (or the ability to obtain certification upon hire).
