Dispatcher

The Dispatcher is a valuable part of our team. They coordinate daily deliveries, pickups, and service requests while assisting with order preparation and equipment staging. This role serves as the communication hub between patients, referral sources, drivers, and warehouse staff to ensure efficient operations, timely deliveries, and exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and committed to providing compassionate service to patients and healthcare partners. Dispatch Role

• Coordinate and schedule daily deliveries, pickups, exchanges, and service calls.
• Build and optimize driver routes to maximize efficiency and reduce travel time.
• Monitor delivery status and communicate schedule changes to drivers and customers.
• Prioritize urgent patient needs, hospital discharges, and hospice admissions.
• Maintain accurate dispatch records within company software systems.
• Coordinate after-hours and emergency service requests according to company policies.
• Confirm Orders and Verify they have been completed.

Warehouse & Order Preparation Support Assist warehouse staff by pulling, staging, and preparing equipment for scheduled deliveries and pickups. Verify equipment, accessories, and supplies are complete and ready prior to driver departure. Ensure orders are organized and staged according to route schedules and delivery priorities. Assist with inventory checks and communicate equipment shortages to management. Help maintain an organized warehouse and staging area to support efficient operations. Work collaboratively with drivers and warehouse personnel to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 2 years of customer service, dispatching, healthcare, logistics, or related experience preferred. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and web-based software applications. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications Experience in Durable Medical Equipment (DME), Home Medical Equipment (HME), healthcare, hospice, home health, transportation, or logistics. Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance-related processes. Experience with dispatching and/or route planning. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting and computer work. Ability to communicate effectively by phone and in person. Occasionally lift and carry office materials up to 40 pounds. $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
