$18.00/Hour Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Dispatcher to support transportation and logistics operations in a fast-paced environment. This role focuses on managing transportation-related claims, coordinating with carriers and drivers, maintaining accurate records, and supporting operational efficiency through effective communication and problem-solving. Key Responsibilities Investigate and resolve transportation-related claims, including overages, shortages, damages, and refusals (OS&D) Communicate with drivers, carriers, and transportation partners to gather information and facilitate claim resolution Review and evaluate claim documentation and determine appropriate product disposition Collaborate with transportation, operations, customer service, warehousing, inventory, quality, and other internal teams Maintain and update transportation management systems and active claim worklists Obtain, review, and validate Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation Process documentation and distribute records to appropriate stakeholders Monitor carrier-related charges and transportation expenses Conduct audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with established procedures Generate reports and maintain operational metrics Analyze issues, identify root causes, and recommend process improvements Maintain accurate records while ensuring confidentiality and professionalism Required Qualifications Education High School Diploma or equivalent required Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred Experience Minimum 1 year of office, administrative, or clerical experience required 3+ years of related experience preferred Experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, customer service, or claims processing preferred Experience with reporting, data analysis, and documentation preferred Technical Skills Proficiency in
Microsoft Office Suite:
