Schedule:
Monday-Friday:
10:00 AM - 4:30
PM Monday-Friday:
On Call for 7:00am to 10:00am Two Saturdays per
Month:
7:00 AM - 12:00 PM Must be willing to be On Call for stated times, must be willing to do occasional (a couple times a year) nightwork dispatching. Overtime potential. The Role We are seeking a versatile, self-motivated Office Assistant & Back-Up Dispatcher to join our crew. In this role, you will wear two crucial hats. Most of the time, you will be the heartbeat of our front office—keeping us organized, handling customer service, and managing daily administrative tasks. However, you will also be fully trained to step up as our Back-Up Dispatcher, ensuring our operations run seamlessly when duty calls (which is also where your overtime potential kicks in!). What You'll Do As an
Office Assistant:
Customer Service:
Greet in-person visitors and handle incoming phone calls with a warm, helpful, and professional attitude.
Daily Operations:
Manage daily filing, keep office supplies and inventory stocked, and ensure the front office runs smoothly.
Financials:
Handle cash, process payments, and balance transactions accurately. As a
Back-Up Dispatcher:
Step into the dispatch seat to coordinate routes, communicate with field staff/drivers, and handle logistics when a dispatcher is away or during peak times. Adapt to occasional night shifts (just a couple of times a year) to support special overnight projects.
What We're Looking For Tech-Savvy:
Experienced and comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other computer programs, including the dispatching software.
Money Minded:
Proven cash-handling skills with a sharp eye for detail.
Rockstar Attitude:
A great attitude paired with natural problem-solving skills. You don't just see a problem; you look for the solution.
Highly Organized:
You love a good system and can keep paperwork and inventory perfectly in order.
Self-Motivated:
You can work independently without being micromanaged, but you also thrive in a collaborative team environment.
Reliable:
You are locked in and ready for our unique schedule, including Saturday mornings and the rare overnight shift. Starting pay is based upon experience and may be increased as dispatching skills are acquired.
