Local Dispatcher AM Shift Schedule:
Mon-Fri 7:00am-3:30pmCompensation:
$22- $23 / hour
DOE Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities will be: Provide support to the Class A drivers (Local) on duty, ensuring that the routes run smoothly and addressing any issues that may arise. Communicate with drivers when errors occur with route assignments to get them back on track to be updated in real-time. Ability to work independently and make decisions for drivers/route assignments to ensure OTD for pickup and deliveries. Provide customer updates on pickup and/or delivery status via email, websites, and/or phone. Update information on various reports for both internal and external customers. Other clerical duties assigned by the Supervisor or Manager. The successful candidate will possess the following attributes: Candidates must possess excellent communication and computer skills Experience working within a Truck Management System (TMS) preferred. Must be able to multi-task Critical thinking: must be able to adapt to ever-changing scenarios and readjust using the most economical plan. Previous dispatching experience for Class A drivers strongly preferred Knowledge of the Phoenix metro area to facilitate efficient routingAdditional Benefits Once Directly Hired:
