As a Night Dispatcher at TCI , you are the command center for overnight operations—ensuring deliveries stay on track, drivers stay safe, and customers stay satisfied. What You'll Own ️ Operations & On-Time Performance Oversee assigned regions to ensure on-time delivery and service excellence Monitor loads, routes, and driver activity to keep operations running smoothly Book hotels and support drivers with overnight logistics Communication & Coordination Work closely with Driver Managers, Transportation Managers, and customers Maintain strong communication across all levels—from drivers to executive leadership Act as a key point of contact for overnight operations and issue resolution ️ Safety & Compliance Ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures Monitor and enforce DOT, FMCSA, and local regulations Promote a culture of safety and accountability across all operations Technology & Performance Tracking Utilize and promote TCI systems including: Samsara (DriveCam & ELD) McLeod (load management & billing readiness) Tenstreet (driver recruiting tools) Customer portals Ensure loads are updated in real time to support accurate billing and reporting Customer Success & Continuous Improvement Help meet or exceed customer performance targets Identify opportunities to improve communication, efficiency, and service quality What You Bring Experience in dispatch, logistics, transportation, or operations Strong decision-making skills and ability to work independently overnight Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Comfort with technology, systems, and digital tools (Office 365, dispatch software, etc.) High level of accountability, professionalism, and integrity Ability to respond to calls, texts, and emails , including occasional emergencies What Sets You Apart You stay calm under pressure and solve problems quickly You think ahead—not just react You hold yourself and others accountable You're committed to safety, service, and results Work Environment & Expectations Overnight, full-time, on-site role Fast-paced, high-responsibility environment Requires flexibility for occasional nights, weekends, or holiday coverage Regular attendance is essential for team collaboration and operational success Why Join TCI?
