Dispatcher Testing Process:

Written Exam will take place on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at 6:00 pm, Saturday, June 27, 2026 at 9:00 am, or Monday, June 29, 2026 at 6:00 pm CritiCall Exam will take place between Monday, July 6, 2026 through Thursday, July 16, 2026 Interviews will take place Monday, July 27, 2026 or Wednesday, July 29, 2026 • Eligible Candidates will receive detailed instructions via email once applications are screened for minimum qualifications and dates are finalized • SUMMARY Incumbents answer emergency and non-emergency telephones, prioritize the calls, and dispatch emergency personnel to crime scenes and calls for service. EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or G.E.D., and one year customer service experience, and one year keyboarding experience. Additional education cannot be substituted for experience.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Must be able to attain and maintain Arizona Criminal Justice Information System (ACJIS) Terminal Operator Certification (TOC), Level A. Training and cost for this certification is provided by the Police Department.

SELECTION PROCESS
