The Royal Automotive Group is seeking an experienced Service Dispatcher that plans, organizes, leads and controls the flow of service work through the service department in a professional, timely manner while ensuring quality repairs at a fair cost to the customer.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Implements and maintains an effective dispatch system Schedules shop work to facilitate maximum productivity in accordance with dealership policy and technician skill level requires Reviews job status frequently, logging status and reporting any change in time or cost estimates to the appropriate service advisor and/or customer Ensures proper repair order documentation, I.e., complaint, cause and correction noted on every repair order Prioritizes and controls all comebacks to ensure proper and prompt attention. Ensures that technicians follow warranty material disposition procedures Maintains timely and professional contact with service customers Maintains an organized and up-to-date repair log Maintains a clean work area and a professional appearance Maintains high customer satisfaction ratings Other tasks as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be at least 18 years old Must have at least two years of technical experience Must be able to perform the physical duties associated with this position High school diploma or GED Post high school tech school or ASE certification desired Must have an impressive work-ethic Neat, clean, and professional appearance Must have an unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, an unrestricted driver's license, at least two years of dealer-level or large facility experience, post-secondary automotive training and a strong technical knowledge.
