Our specialty is hauling high-value refrigerated cargo from California and Texas to the South Eastern United States. We operate a fleet of 70 Volvo and Freightliner Trucks equipped with Satellite tracking and in-cab communication devices, ensuring direct and immediate contact with our drivers at all times. Our Great Dane 53' Reefer Trailers are equipped with Thermo-King Reefer Units and satellite tracking, allowing for autonomous temperature monitoring and reporting. At Primelink, we prioritize technology and strive to create a reliable and transparent supply chain for our clients. This is a full-time on-site role for a Dispatcher at Primelink Express in Fresno, CA. The Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling the delivery of refrigerated cargo, communicating with drivers, tracking shipments, resolving issues and ensuring timely and efficient transportation. The Dispatcher will work closely with the operations team to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.

Qualifications Key Responsibilities:

Load Assignment:

Efficiently assign loads to drivers, considering their proximity to the destination and optimizing route planning.

Traffic and Weather Assistance:

Assist drivers in navigating through traffic congestions and provide support during prevailing or predicted adverse weather conditions. Communication with

Brokers:

Maintain continuous communication with brokers throughout the hauling process, providing real-time updates on driver locations and other requested information.

Document Management:

Proficiently assemble Bills of Lading (BOLs), Proof of Delivery (POD) documents, fuel receipts, repair receipts, and Lumper Receipts. Collect relevant documents during on-site inspections.

Check-In and Out Records:

Record driver check-in and out times for detention and layover purposes, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.

Driver and Customer Support:

Handle driver inquiries and customer grievances promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive experience for all parties involved.

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience as a truck dispatcher and in customer service or a related field. 2+ years of experience in data entry. Exceptional scheduling skills, with the ability to plan routes and dispatch drivers efficiently. Experience in generating freight bills and invoices. Proficiency in Transportation Management Software (TMS). Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to monitor drivers' logs, truck maintenance schedules, and repairs. Knowledge of applicable transportation regulations and laws. Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills. Flexibility to work weekends and adjust schedules as needed. Bilingual required. Spanish speakers and Punjabi speakers are encouraged to apply.
