Culture Cart has created a great way to move around and create a great experience which is why we will be moving through some of LA's biggest sports and entertainment events all summer such as the World Cup. About The Role The Fleet Dispatcher is the "soul flow" and central nervous system of Culture Cart. Stationed in our command center, you are responsible for the real-time routing, tracking, and optimization of our entire fleet. Relying heavily on Nexar technology and an expert-level understanding of Inglewood's local geography, you will analyze traffic patterns and passenger demand to eliminate bottlenecks. You will also manage live passenger bookings via the MOOVS app, and your post-event analytics will directly guide the Lead Team in optimizing future revenue strategies.

Responsibilities Command Center Operations & Telematics:
System Mastery:
Utilize Nexar fleet tracking technology to monitor vehicle telemetry, dashcam feeds, driver status, and exact GPS coordinates across multiple screens in a dedicated dispatch room.
Fleet Optimization:
Continuously analyze live operational data—including dwell times at hubs, vehicle headways, and battery levels—to dynamically adjust fleet distribution and maximize throughput. Reservation Management (MOOVS App):
Live Booking Coordination:
Field incoming calls from passengers requesting rides, providing excellent customer service while actively managing their reservations.
App Integration:
Seamlessly input, track, and dispatch these custom reservations through the MOOVS app, integrating on-demand requests with our existing hub routes without disrupting overall fleet flow.
Post-Event Reporting & Strategic Analytics:
Mileage Tracking & Audits:
Generate comprehensive post-event reports utilizing Nexar data to accurately log the exact mileage driven by each individual cart, as well as the total cumulative mileage for the entire fleet.
Sales & Optimization Strategy:
Analyze daily operational metrics against passenger volume to draft actionable improvement plans. Submit strategic suggestions to the Lead Team on how to refine routing, adjust hub staging, and optimize the fleet for subsequent events to maximize rider capture and increase overall sales.
Dynamic Routing & Traffic Navigation:
Hyper-Local Routing:
Leverage an intimate, street-level knowledge of Inglewood. Navigate drivers away from gridlock, road closures, and heavy event-day traffic by utilizing alleys, secondary roads, and optimized transit corridors.
Demand Response:
Anticipate passenger surges at our four primary hubs (Wally Park, Hotel LAX, Metro K line, and Manchester Prairie) and proactively deploy carts to clear queues.
Communications & Field Direction:
Radio Dispatch:
Act as the singular voice of direction for the fleet. Issue clear, concise, and authoritative routing instructions via two-way radio, maintaining strict, professional radio etiquette.
Exception Management:
Coordinate rapidly with the Operations Lead on the ground to address driver no-shows, route deviations, or field emergencies. Other duties as assigned Qualifications Proven professional background in commercial dispatch, logistics, emergency services dispatch, or fleet routing. Experience handling live customer call volume and managing bookings through ride-scheduling platforms (experience with the MOOVS app is a major plus). Analytical mindset with the ability to translate telematics data (like mileage and route efficiency) into actionable sales and optimization strategies. Deep familiarity and operational comfort with Nexar technology (or comparable fleet telematics and dashcam software). Exceptional working knowledge of Inglewood's geography, traffic patterns, and major event venues. Ability to remain highly focused, analytical, and calm while managing complex logistics independently in a screen-heavy environment.
