The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and communication skills, with a comprehensive understanding of logistics, transportation management systems, and supply chain processes. As a Dispatch Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring timely freight delivery, optimizing fleet utilization, and maintaining seamless coordination between drivers, clients, and internal teams. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic logistics environment that values precision, efficiency, and exceptional service.
Reports To:
Phlebotomy and Dispatch Supervisor Key Responsibilities Assist in coordinating daily dispatch schedules for phlebotomists and courier staff Monitor and track specimen pickups and deliveries to ensure timely transport Communicate with field staff regarding route changes, delays, or urgent requests Support routing logistics to improve efficiency and coverage Maintain accurate records of dispatch activity, including logs and reports Answer incoming calls and respond to client or internal inquiries related to dispatch Escalate issues or delays to the Phlebotomy and Dispatch Supervisor as needed Assist with training new dispatch or field staff on processes and procedures Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable healthcare regulations Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred 1+ year of experience in dispatch, logistics, healthcare operations, or a related field Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and dispatch/logistics software Knowledge of medical or laboratory operations is a plus Additional Notes This position works closely with the Phlebotomy and Dispatch Supervisor to ensure smooth daily operations and high-quality patient service.Pay:
