Duties Help Technical Administrion Ensures on a continuing basis th the 14 CFR part 121 dispch centers and/or 14 CFR parts 121/65 dispch training facilities are properly and adequely organized, equipped, and staffed with qualified aircraft dispchers, support personnel, instructors, and air transportion supervisors (ATS). Serves as the expert technical advisor on policies and procedures to the principal operions inspector (POI) on assigned areas of the company's approved 14 CFR part(s) 121 and/or 65 training program, dispch documents and manuals. Conducts investigions of public complaints, congressional inquiries and aircraft incidents and accidents with operional control reled implicions. Conducts enforcement investigions and prepares final reports and recommendions on disposition. Inities and/or assists in the emergency suspension of airmen certifices. Provides verbal and/or written technical assistance to legal counsel. Testifies court trials and formal hearings and gives depositions. Coordines and provides technical expertise to other district offices for various surveillance and certificion activities in the aircraft dispch/operional control program area and reled CFR and agency orders. Serves as the Managing Specialist (MS) and the Dispch Course Program Manager (DCPM) for any 14 CFR part 65 training program. Conducts initial and annual training and recommends the designion of all assigned DADEs. Certificion Participes in the initial certificion of new 14 CFR part 121 applicants in all aircraft dispch/operional control reled areas. Reviews dispcher documents and evalues reled plans to ensure compliance with the regulions and FAA policy and guidance. Recommends changes which may require complex and controversial solutions to the POI th required prior to approval of dispch centers. Reviews and recommends approval or disapproval of manuals and revisions to manuals reled to flight dispching and operional control, including procedures for coordinion of dispch, flight control or flight following procedures as applicable. Participes in the initial certificion of new 14 CFR part 65 dispch courses. Reviews dispch course documents and evalues reled plans to ensure compliance with the regulions and FAA policy and guidance. Recommends changes which may require complex and controversial solutions th required prior to approval of dispch courses. Conducts airman certificion of aircraft dispchers as requested. Evalues airline operional control and dispch facilities as requested by on-site inspections and the review of reports from other inspectors. Based on the results of those evaluions, makes a recommendion on changes essential or desirable in policies and procedures to the POI. Ensures standardizion of ATSs and DADEs. Surveillance Develops a work program, in coordinion with the POI, to ensure periodic surveillance of operional control centers, 14 CFR parts 121 and 65 training instructors, training programs, and all phases of 14 CFR part 121 air carrier dispch operions. Monitors aircraft dispcher training programs conducted by the air carrier and the course operors to ensure compliance with the regulions, nional and regional directives, and safe opering practices. Develops a work program working in conjunction with Principal Operions Inspector to ensure periodic surveillance of 14 CFR part 65 training courses. Monitors the part 65 training course to ensure compliance with regulions, nional directives, and safe opering practices. Monitors DADEs during the conduct of airmen certificion and recurring evaluions to ensure compliance with established standards. Requirements Help Conditions of employment US Citizenship is required. Medical Requirements :
Applicants must be physically able to perform the duties of the Aviion Safety Inspector (Aircraft Dispch) position in a safe and efficient manner, with or without a reasonable accommodion.
