Towing Dispatcher

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Towing Dispatcher to coordinate towing operations and manage communication between drivers, customers, and service providers. This role involves utilizing advanced transportation management systems and GPS technology to ensure timely dispatching, efficient fleet management, and seamless logistics flow. The ideal candidate will excel in communication, data entry, and analysis skills to support our fast-paced environment. Duties Receive incoming calls via multi-line phone systems, providing exceptional phone etiquette and clear communication with customers and drivers Dispatch towing services promptly using transportation management system Monitor GPS and GIS (Geographic Information Systems) data to track vehicle locations and optimize routing strategies Coordinate with fleet management teams to allocate resources effectively for towing assignments Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, freight details, and service logs Communicate clearly with drivers regarding job details, directions, and updates using effective communication skills Support shipping & receiving operations by scheduling pickups and drop-offs efficiently within the supply chain framework Requirements Proven experience with dispatching in a transportation or logistics environment Strong analysis skills to interpret

GPS, GIS
