The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses strong problem-solving skills, and is committed to maintaining exceptional service standards.
In this position you will:
Coordinate and dispatch drivers to ensure timely and efficient transportation services. Monitor driver routes, schedules, and vehicle locations while responding to operational changes in real time. Maintain regular communication with drivers, customers, and internal departments regarding service updates and delivery status. Accurately document dispatch activities, trip information, driver logs, and operational records. Resolve scheduling conflicts, service disruptions, and customer concerns while escalating issues when necessary. Must Haves High school diploma or equivalent; transportation, logistics, or dispatching experience preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with drivers and customers. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and transportation management or dispatch software. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as operational needs require.
