HVAC/Plumbing Dispatcher

Job Summary As our HVAC/Plumbing Dispatcher, you'll be the central hub of our service operations — scheduling calls, assigning technicians, and keeping communication flowing between customers, field staff, and the office. From urgent emergency repairs to routine maintenance visits, you'll ensure the right technician reaches the right job with the right information, every time. Responsibilities Schedule and dispatch technicians to service calls, maintenance visits, and installations based on priority, skill, and location Optimize daily routes to minimize travel time and maximize technician productivity Answer inbound customer calls, address inquiries, and provide real-time job status updates Manage and resolve customer complaints in a professional and timely manner Serve as the primary liaison between field technicians and the office Relay job details to technicians, track progress, and adjust schedules as needed Troubleshoot field issues and resolve scheduling conflicts or unexpected delays Identify and dispatch rehash calls (previously unsold opportunities), with bonus incentives earned when a sale is closed Maintain and update customer records and databases Process invoices, warranties, and other job-related paperwork Assist with technician time reports and billing as needed Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience in a dispatch role, preferably in HVAC, plumbing, or a related field service industry Experience with ServiceTitan preferred Strong verbal and written communication skills across phone, email, and chat Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with the capacity to manage a live dispatch board in real time Proficiency with scheduling software, CRM systems, and multi-line phone systems Ability to evaluate technician skill sets and make quick, revenue-driven dispatch decisions Proactive problem-solving mindset with the ability to prioritize under pressure Customer service-focused — able to handle ETA updates, complaints, and reschedules professionally and courteously Positive, professional attitude with the ability to lead by example and uphold company values Detail-oriented with strong administrative follow-through on invoices, parts orders, timecards, and work orders

Pay:

$30.00 - $35.00 per hour
