Duties Coordinate the dispatching of heavy equipment, trucks, and freight using transportation management systems such as Oracle Transportation Management and AS400. Utilize GPS and GIS tools to track equipment locations, optimize routes, and improve overall dispatch efficiency. Communicate effectively with drivers, project managers, and vendors via multi-line phone systems, ensuring clear instructions and updates. Maintain accurate data entry for shipment schedules, fleet movements, and inventory using systems like SyteLine and shipping & receiving platforms. Monitor fleet management metrics to ensure equipment availability, maintenance schedules, and compliance with safety standards. Analyze transportation data to identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies, proposing solutions to enhance supply chain performance. Handle phone etiquette professionally while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
